The 2012 AFI Research Collection Fellow, Dr Catriona Mills, has recently completed a project linked to the Crawfords Collection<\/a> in the library: \u201cThe Writer in Australian Television History\u201d. Utilising the extensive script resources on hand at the AFI Research Collection, Dr Mills was able to provide detailed script information (synopsis, character notes) on over 300 episodes of Crawford Productions tv and radio shows (such as Homicide<\/em>, Bluey<\/em>, Matlock Police<\/em>, The Crime Club<\/em>).<\/p>\n\n\n\n The AFI Research Collection and the AFIRC Research Fellowship committee commend Dr Mills for her fine scholarship on this project!<\/p>\n\n\n\n A specific project page for The Writer in Australian Television History<\/a> has been added at AustLit (AustLit is a database on Australian literature and storytelling, which includes scholarly research).<\/p>\n\n\n\n More about Auslit can be found at: http:\/\/www.austlit.edu.au\/about<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n Catriona holds a B.A. (Hons) from Macquarie University and an M.Phil. and Ph.D. from The University of Queensland; the dissertation for the latter examined the career of nineteenth-century actress and writer Eliza Winstanley. Her published and forthcoming work includes nineteenth-century adaptation, problems in authorship attribution for early Australian authors, Australian national identity in Doctor Who<\/em> and neo-Victorian television.
